A Word From The Chamber

It has come to the attention of the Chamber that some of the businesses in the Moreno Valley may be misinformed on the current changes in healthcare reform. Case in point, a member had come into the Chamber recently, upset that because he could not afford health insurance, he was not insured and he believed that he would be sent to jail as a consequence. He based this assumption on the word of not one, but two business owners in Angel Fire, who told him that he would go to jail unless he and his family were insured. He was much relieved to hear that it was not true and was happy to hear about the positive changes to healthcare that are going into action and that will benefit his family. We feel it is best to keep to the facts and be well informed. In the article below is a breakdown of the actual new rules that are currently in effect and a link is provided at the bottom that link is provided at the bottom that takes you to a website provided by the Department of Health and Human Services to www.healthcare.gov. It is a great resource for everything you want to know about health insurance reform and the new laws in effect.
