Helpful Tips for Our Guests |

1. How far are your condos from the slopes? The furthest set of condos is only three blocks from the slopes which means everything in Angel Fire is very centrally located. At Resort Properties, we do not charge you extra to be closer to the slopes. 2. Can I get package deals with everything included? Yes you can!! We offer lift tickets and rentals that can be purchased in advance. We work with a local company called Discover Angel Fire. They can arrange to have your lift tickets available at check-in, organize your ski rentals, and plan excursions such as snowmobile rentals and sleigh rides in the winter and river rafting, fishing, and jeep tour trips in the summer. Just call us and we will send you all the information you need to make your vacation plans pain free! 3. How many people can I sleep in one condo? Most of our condos sleep at least six people. We have three bedroom/three bath condos that will sleep up to twelve and beautiful homes that can sleep as many as twenty! Our condos and homes rent for a set rate, regardless of how many people stay in the unit. This set rate is less confusing for everyone. Just email us or call us for more information. 4. How do I get around in Angel Fire? Is there a shuttle system that goes to the condos and homes? Yes there is! It is called the Magic Bus and it runs throughout Angel Fire from morning till night. The Magic Bus stops at all of the condos and you can call them to come pick you up if you are staying at one of our homes. The charge is 50 cents per person to ride each way from any of the condos and $1.00 from any of the homes. The phone number for the Magic Bus is 505-377-6856. This number is also available in the property notebooks located in every condo and home. 5. I need kitchen facilities. Do your condos and homes have kitchens? Yes, all of our condos and homes have full, well stocked kitchens. All you need to bring is food! If there is something missing in the kitchen that you can't live without, just call our office and we will be happy to provide you with it. 6. Are there hot tubs available? Hot tubs are fairly rare in Angel Fire, however, Resort Properties has the only condominiums in town with their own private hot tubs! Several of our homes also have private hot tubs. Angel Fire, New Mexico has some of the most beautiful weather anywhere. The summers are mild with temperatures in the mid to low 70's and 80's in the daytime and upper 40's and lower 50's at night. Afternoon rain showers can be expected and the temperature can cool down suddenly. Always be prepared by carrying a light jacket with you. Winter weather naturally requires more clothing. Temperatures are usually in the 30's and 40's during the day and in the single digits at night. Good news though - at 8500 feet base elevation, the sun can make it feel a lot warmer than it actually is. Layering clothing is a great idea for New Mexico skiing. Long underwear, a turtleneck, sweater, ski jacket and ski pants or bibs, and ski gloves would be the clothing of choice. Just peel off what you don't need if the temperature turns warmer. Remember, you can always take something off but you can't add an article of clothing if you didn't bring it with you. Like the summer months, storms can move into this area quickly and the temperature can change in a matter of minutes. It is best to be prepared. Sunscreen is a must in the state of New Mexico. Even on a cloudy day, you can still get sunburned. Always wear a good sunscreen on your face and neck and reapply it several times throughout the day. Don't forget a lip protectant! Lips can dry up and chap quickly here. If you forget either of these on your travels to beautiful Angel Fire, don't despair - there are numerous ski shops and t-shirt shops in town that carry these products in both the summer and winter. You can also purchase them right on the slopes. All of our condos and homes come fully equipped with all the comforts of home. Sheets and towels are provided so you don't need to bring any from home. We provide paper products such as toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher detergent, hotel size bar soap, one shampoo and one lotion, plus coffee, hot chocolate and apple cider upon arrival. We do not provide laundry detergent. If you need any of these products replenished, just visit our housekeeping department located on the second floor of Gold Creek Condominiums. Because we have no daily maid service, you may also exchange your towels there as well. We do ask one small favor - we try to conserve our water resources as much as possible so we ask that you use your towels more than once before exchanging them. All of our condos and homes have either a fireplace or a woodburning stove. Firewood is provided at each of the condo complexes and all of our homes. We also give you several firestarters to make starting your fire as easy as possible. Remember, never leave a fire unattended and be sure to keep small children away from the fireplace or woodburning stove. We put notebooks with area information in all of our condos and homes. These notebooks provide valuable information on your condo or home, the ski area, area business and restaurants, and things to do in Angel Fire and the surrounding areas. Please read them upon arrival and be sure to leave them in the condo or home for the next guest to use. All of our properties have TVs with VCRs and some of our homes have satellite. All of the condos have basic cable. You can rent movies from the Movie House located in downtown Angel Fire. Most of our condos and homes have telephones with a long distance blocking service on them. You can make long distance calls with a calling card. Instructions on how to do this are located in the condo or home notebook. Fax services are available at the office. The charge is $2.00 for the first page and .50 each additional to receive a fax and $4.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional to send. Copies may be made for 5 cents per page. If you need computer time, we can arrange that as well. One of our offices located at Gold Creek condominiums (the check-in office) has a computer that may be used for a charge of $20 per hour, $12 for a half hour. Just let us know in advance and we can make arrangements for you. The staff at Resort Properties takes pride in serving you, our guest.
