Eagle Nest Holiday Potluck

HO HO HO! Its that time again!

The Eagle Nest Chamber & Village Hall are in the planning stages for the Christmas potluck supper. Please put December 17th, 6:00 p.m. on your calendar. The potluck will be held at the Eagle Nest Community Center. All community members are welcome to attend. We anticipate feeding between 100 and 150 people including children. Santa will be in attendance!

We request (not mandatory) that you bring a relish, side dish, desert or salad to the potluck. Please register your dish with the Chamber of Commerce at 575-377-2420 or info@eaglenestchamber.org. so that we don’t end up with too much duplication. If you own a restaurant, we could sure use a big casserole or any dish that you could spare.

The Chamber could use donations of paper plates, plastic ware, drink cups, etc. Contact us at the number noted above or by return email.

The Village is also in need of Christmas decorations. Please contact Lynda Perry at the Village at 575-377-2486 if you have any new or used decorations that you can donate. Even pretty painted pine cones would be good!

The Village is also putting together children’s gift bags. If you have any small, new items to donate, nothing expensive, they anticipate about 50 children! The gift bags are small ones. Shop owners, this is a great way to find homes for some of those tiny treats that didn’t sell this summer. Pencils, erasers, coloring books, crayons, hair ornaments, small toys, jewelry, etc.

Any Civic clubs want to come caroling? Please let Lynda know in advance at 575-377-2486.

We appreciate each and every one of you & wish you each the best and safest of holidays!
