Ski & Snowboard with Santa – December 23-25

How do Mr. and Mrs. Claus limber up for the big day? By carving up the mountain in style, naturally. They also like to leave a few special gifts for our guests to find. Don’t forget your camera, otherwise no one will believe the stories.

Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade & Fireworks

Experience the enchanting visual brilliance of Angel Fire’s annual Torchlight Parade and Fireworks*. Bundle up the family and get cozy at the base of the ski mountain. Don’t forget to keep an eye out – Santa and Mrs. Claus who are rumored to make a surprise appearance!

Christmas Eve and Day Dinners in Elements at the Country Club

Warm your merry soul with the flavorful favorites of the season. Chef Mathias’ culinary artistry will have your taste buds fluttering with excitement. Both dinners are presented buffet-style from 5 pm-9 pm and reservations are required. Please call 575.377.3055.

New Year’s Eve Dinner in Elements at the Country Club

New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade & Fireworks

Light the fuse on a perfect New Years Eve celebrate in style with the luminous display of our annual Torchlight Parade and Fireworks. Dress warm and join us at the base of the ski mountain at dusk for this charming Angel Fire Resort Tradition.

New Year’s Eve Party in the Village Haus

Send 2014 out in high style and give a mountain size welcome to 2015 as you enjoy the revelry of New Year’s Eve with dancing, festivities and what can only be described as an epic party. Featuring great music, favors and drink specials.

Angel Fire Garden Club Christmas Party

Catered by Pub n’ Grub. Cost is $19.00 per person. Garden Club guests are welcome. Enjoy wonderful music. Holiday punch will be served. You may bring your own wine.

snow-03Angel Fire received 29 inches of fresh powdered snow on the summit on November 17, 2014 and 18 inches here in the Village. This is a great start to our winter ski season! It really makes us want to go outside and play!

A Bah Humbug Christmas Dinner Party

dinner-partyJoin us at the Pub n’ Grub for a Bah Humbug Christmas Dinner Party! Tickets are now on sale at the Angel Fire Chamber of Commerce office or by calling 575-377-6353. There are only 80 tickets available so purchase early!

When: Monday, December 15, 2014 at 6:00 pm

Where: Pub n’ Grub – 52 North Angel Fire Road, Angel Fire, NM

Cost: $30 Per Person

Cocktails and silent auction start at 6:00 pm, dinner at 6:30 pm.

Menu Choices

Salad – A bed of mixed greens, goat cheese, baked walnuts and Christmas cranberries topped with a balsamic dressing.

Entree – Grilled petite rib eye steak or pan seared chicken breast with a rosemary cream sauce served with whipped Yukon gold potatoes and green beans.

Desert – Gingerbread cake topped with a mound of fresh snow white whipped cream.

Community Christmas Tree

xmas-treeLighting of the Christmas tree and the Christmas light pole decorations. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies. Sing along with the Christmas Carolers and be entertained by “Shall We Dance.” Some say Santa may even show up!

Hosted by Angel Fire Proud (AFP), “We’ll have several community friends pitching in to celebrate the season with cookies, caroling, hot chocolate, the Shall We Dance performers, tree lighting and a visit from Santa Claus,” said AFP Chair Lysa P. Hopson.

“This year, the tree’s new location will ensure the season shines bright from the ski mountain all throughout the Village,” said Hopson. “We hope to see a big crowd of locals and visitors kicking off the holiday season! This year we even have a new children’s activity and two special ‘tree lighters’.”

Volunteers needed: Help is welcome to set up and light luminairia (farolitos).
