MUSIC FROM ANGEL FIRE – CALL TO ARTISTS

Entry Deadline: March 20, 2017

OVERVIEW AND ANNOUNCEMENT

On January 14, 2017 Music from Angel Fire launches its third annual juried art competition. One artist will be selected and the winning work will be featured on the cover of the Summer Festival program book, a publication distributed at all festival concerts, August 18-September 2. The work may also be used for an annual MFAF poster if that is re-instated. The competition alternates each year between artists residing in Colfax and Taos counties. In 2017, entries may be submitted by part or full time residents of Colfax county and will be judged by a panel of jurors. The submitted work must have been completed in the last two years and artists are invited to submit artwork created in 2D or 3D, including, but not limited to, painting, photography, pottery, and sculpture. The winning artist will have the opportunity to display and sell their work at the Angel Fire Community Center throughout the festival. Application fee is $20 per medium. Competition opens on Saturday, January 14 and closes March 20, 2017. Questions, please contact Jennifer Cavan by email at jennifercavan@gmail.com or by phone at 505-954-1640. Email is preferred.
