Elliott Barker Girl Scout Camp & Assistant Camp Director – Summer Camp
Minimum Requirements: 5+ years working at a summer or day camp, 2+ years supervisory experience, high level of personal organization Description: The Assistant Camp Director is responsible for assisting the Seasonal Camp Director with the administration and coordination of camp operations and logistics and business operations including purchasing, personnel record keeping, general customer service, maintaining financial records, and transportation. This person should have administrative and supervisory experience in organized camps. They will further the mission of the camp through the program planning and organization, staff support, crisis management, and assisting in the organization of day to day operations. They will work with the rest of the Administrative team in assisting the Unit Leaders and Counselors with master scheduling and logistics. Directly supervises Unit Leaders, Unit Counselors, and Kitchen Staff. Works with the rest of the Administrative team for reviews, staff meetings, conflict resolution, and other camp duties as needed (may include covering breaks for counselors, running into town to pick up supplies, organizing and running rainy day programming, calling parents about behavior problems, etc). decision to implement a prescribed fire. Visitor Center / Tourism Director
The Village of Angel Fire is currently seeking a Visitor Center/Tourism Director. This full-time position is responsible for planning, organizing, securing volunteers, managing day to day activities and operations of and for the Angel Fire Visitor Center. The position includes coordinating and supervising special events, with the opportunity to develop and administer additional programs he/she feels will support the overall tourism market; helping to develop and write grants to further fund marketing efforts, assisting to develop and distribution of the Angel Fire Visitor’s Guide; assisting in and coordination the year-round marketing and advertising efforts of Angel Fire to the appropriate markets. Maintain village websites and social media pages. Foster a relationship with and support local, regional agencies, organizations and events that are designed to draw visitors. Serve as liaison to the Lodger’s Tax Advisory Board. Actively promote Angel Fire.
